2. I’ll sin for you
Ya peco yo por ti
Simply send a letter of complaint against someone who is treating you badly and this priest, will do all the swearing for you in the name of God, and then absolve himself. In this episode Josefina writes to complain about the bad treatment she is receiving from her boss Ramon. This is the best video from this comedian. Pity they didn’t follow it up with a few more.
3. Sons of Pooh- Luisa
Los hijos de Pooh- Luisa
The song about the guy who meets a love interest on the corner and can’t find her. Then explains that he still loves her/it even though she/it mightn’t be a woman, to the rest of the bands surprise. Los Hijos de Pooh do a few other funny videos, both in English and Spanish.
4. Los Pelusos Carambanales- The Argentinian Plague
“Che, Queres un matecito? – Man, Do you want a little maté?
By surprise the hero of this story finds a little tamagochi type figure that looks like Diego Maradonna the footballer, talks like the Argentinian he is, and then they reproduce and reach plague proportions. The heroes of the story try to work out how to get the plague under control, and in the end traps them by luring them in with a special Argentinian treat, “Choripan“, “which is nothing more than chorizo sausage in a bread roll”
5. River Plate 2nd division relegation game
Learn to swear in Spanish, and Argentinian with this video. This particularly animated fan and supporter of River Plate finds himself in a sticky situation. River Plate one of Argentina’s most successful football teams is playing to avoid relegation to the second division. And they don’t do well. At this moment the swearing gets more animated
6. Un novio para mi mujer- A boyfriend for my wife
This is a section of the best part of the movie, where La Tana wrecks a party with her consistently bad attitude. La Tana is not impressed with her friend that finds it exciting that she and 2 friends Pachi and Gachi are all Sagittarius and then tries to look for more Sagittarius.
7. Goose Day- the Fiesta of Lekeitio, Spain
El dia los gansos, Fiesta de Lekeitio, España
The Goose Day is a special day for the Fiesta of the village of Lekeitio in Pais Vasco, Spain. The rowboat team dressed in the traditional Basque costume of that village (blue and white, red is more common for Basques), row toward the goose suspended across the harbour. The man standing at the back them grabs onto the goose and has to hold onto, and gets pulled up and down, by the tug of war team holding the rope, on the harbour dock. Afterwards there is copious drinking of kalimotxo (red wine mixed with coca cola)
8. How Difficult is the Spanish Language?
Qué difícil es hablar el español?
These guys are singing about the difficulties and differences between words in different countries that speak Spanish. Their advice if you learn Spanish in one place, don’t leave it because the Spanish in the next country will have you perplexed. I can vouch for that!
9 Aguardiente Pal Chofer- Firewater for the Chauffeur
The funny thing about this song. Before the man says anything dirty, he cuts it off with the chorus to leave you guessing if he really was going to say it or that you are just dirty minded for thinking that was the next word.
Obviously there is 1 more to come. When we find it we will update. Hope you enjoyed the show so far. Until the next time Hasta luego!
