Ms Universe Capital of the World.Venezuelan Women-Hottest?

What a strange question you may ask. Are Venezuelan Women Really That Hot? The statistics say it all. 6 times Venezuelan women have become Miss Universe. A country of 28 million equalling the result of the United States one of the most populated countries on the planet. How can they have so many Miss Universe winners?

To ponder the question we compared Venecas (a Venezuelan woman) with their nearby neighbours Colombia to try to find an answer.

What do Colombia and Venezuela have in common? Well were both colonies of Spain, for a long time they used to be part of the same country, so therefore would share similar cultural roots and immigrants. Investigating this we found that they had huge similarities. The original Amerindian tribes were spread across both countries. The main immigrants for both were Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. But also other groups of German, Dutch, French, Swiss, Belgians and English are common to both countries the blacks brought through the slave trade.

There were 2 main differences found. 1 On the Caribbean Coast of Colombia we find the main difference with some Lebanese, Syrian and Jordanian communities that arrived from the Middle East. Shakira for example has part Lebanese blood. 2. The majority of the criollos that have true European blood live close to Caracas in Venezuela, whereas in Colombia they are spread out and mixed.

So now we have worked out that there is no real difference between Colombia and Venezuela, we try to work out if there is some favouritism to Venezuelan women, but in the end it doesn’t matter. If they’re hot they’re hot.

According to Miss Universe statistics though Colombians figure high, if you count how many women from their country have gone through to semi final stage. When we take this figure Venezuela has had 37 and Colombia 30. To compare with other countries Brazil has had 30, Sweden as personal favourite of Street Talk Savvy 29, and Puerto Rico who have the 3rd biggest amount of Miss Universe with 5 have had 19 through to semi finals. So is it that Venecas have more grace, style and charm than other countries?

The only other way to judge this is international personalities from both countries.

Let’s pit the 2 best against each other. Sofia Vergara versus Dayana Mendoza. Considering that Sophia Vergara was voted #1 in AskMen Sexiest 100 women Sophia wins this round.

Colombia is also the home of the famous singer Shakira “who’s hips don’t lie”. I don’t think you can find anyone like Shakira who has the world mesmorised with the way she moves her hips, the way she sings; in 2 languages.

Something we found interesting that the 2 countries share are a pair each of hot twins. We pitted Electra and Elise Avellan up against, Mariana and Camila Davalos from Colombia, and we decided that Colombia won the sexiest twins award also.

The moral of this story is that Venezuela is a country that has beautiful women, just like many other countries like Brazil, Sweden, Australia, Estonia, Puerto Rico or Norway who are renowned for the quantity of beautiful women they have in their countries. They might have been lucky to have the women to win the Miss Universe or are bred with that super double extra charm that women from other countries don’t have. We chose Colombia as the country to compare because of the vast similarities. In the end beautiful is beautiful, is beautiful, and both Colombia and Venezuela have what it takes to keep their men motivated to treat their beautiful women like the goddesses that they are.
