Scorregio was a good Italian boy. He was no oil painting, but then again very few men from his region in Apulia were. The important thing was that he and his mother thought that he really was attractive, and that was all that mattered.
Scoreggio when he was young liked spending time with his father and uncles. While walking to the main Piazza of their town he would listen to his father and uncles, give compliments to the woman they met along the way. They were often make strong statements of how it was unbelievable that a particular woman was getting more beautiful every day, and that another woman was so beautiful if they were not married they would certainly choose that women.
Scoreggio grew up listening to some of the finest “cortegiatore” (flirters) in the Italian nation which were his male relatives. A veritable Italian School of Flirting. By the time he was 18 Scoreggio considered the female a piece of art. Her smell, the way she moved, expressed herself and most of all the beauty of her face and the seductiveness of her body. It made Scoreggio want to perfect his skills of corteggiare-seduction, which at that age he was considered a masters in his own town.
He had secured the interest of his towns most beautiful young women around that age. Some older, some younger. And many a more attractive man could not compete with his greatness. For this his male relatives were extremely proud of him. When he was a little younger he used to use his father’s and uncles lines, but now he was a fully-fledged graduate from the “Scuola Nazionale di Flirtare”- national school of flirting.
His lines were polished, the women fell like dominos and melted like butter in the sun.
“You are the most beautiful woman in the world. For the first time in my life I am speechless”.
Scoreggio would hit the town on the weekend, with his gold chain Catholic cross around his neck, and his shirt partially undone to expose his bold dark chest hair.
As soon as he first entered the establishment where he was to spend his night, the very sight of a beautiful women, had taken him like a spell from a witch. He had to talk to her and usually he was the first in the room to talk to the women there. Like most of the students from the School of Flirting, the most important thing was to talk to the women, and to please them with his compliments. Given this was a tourist town, a foreigner could easily notice that a student of the school had no other priority but women, being totally under their spell. The foreigners would enjoy a drink, some conversation with their friends and if the chance to meet a potential suitor came up, they would not resist the invitation, especially other Latinos. But one of the main motto’s of the School of flirting, was to never leave a stone unturned, so most girls were cornered and complimented.
Last we heard of Scoreggio on that night, was that he was leaving to go to the beach with a women in a red and white floral dress and dark curly hair. He will be back though, with his adventures of Italian Flirting Skills
