Down in the south of Europe partially lying on the Eastern side of the beautiful Adriatic Sea, lies the proud and strong sporting nation of Croatia. It is a Slavic language related to Russian, Polish, Bulgarian and Czech, but separated from many neighbouring countries with mutually intelligent vocabulary as part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, you will be surprised at how the distance between Russia and Croatia can produce so many similarities in a language.
